What is an accredited investor?
An accredited investor is a person (or entity) that is allowed to trade securities that may not be registered with financial authorities (per SEC rules). In order to qualify as an accredited investor, you must be able to satisfy at least one requirement regarding income, net worth, asset size, governance status, or professional experience. In order to qualify for all of the Mossy Ventures programs, (Startup Investor Accelerator, Seattle Angel Conference, APIS Health Angels, etc.), all participating investors must qualify as an accredited investor.
